“Black Jar” People’s Choice Award Honey Entry Requirements:

1. Entries must be submitted by a beekeeper and be pure unadulterated honey produced by his or her own bees.

2. An “Entry” consists of one container of any style (8 ounces or more) of the same honey.

3. A black or colored jar will be provided by the Show Secretary at the sign-in table, and the Exhibitor will transfer their entry into the jar and return the exhibit to the Show Secretary. Honey Entry will not be returned.

Honey Evaluation & Awards:

Entries will be evaluated for flavor only by conference attendees.
*In the Black Jar class–First, Second, & Third Place Prizes will be awarded; as well as a cash prize will be awarded to First Place.
